Invisible prison

Prisons are designed to house dangerous people who have broken the law and remove them from free society. However, home-coated prisons are designed to house harmless people and  remove them from free society.  The former groups of inmates are aware of why they are locked up in a cell and how long they have to stay there. The latter group have no slightest idea about them being in a  prison which is invisible to them and to others until their life is unbearable.

Inmates lead different lives. The former  group are either put  in  an isolated cage-style housing with armed guards or  sent to dormitory-type living environment that allows interaction  with  fellow prisoners.  The latter group have their own rooms sometimes  more luxurious than average people’s bedrooms with a TV, a dresser and a private phone. The former group  are restricted to a cell of  6 by 8 feet in size with steel or brick walls, and barred door that locks from the outside. The latter group are not restricted spatially, but their limited freedom of choice and decison-making is just as bad.
